The right hire starts with one conversation.

For more than two decades RED SKY has connected organizations with the cybersecurity, IT, and AI talent that moves them forward, from 8 Fortune 10 clients to growth-stage security teams. Choose the conversation, and the form adapts to it. A senior member of the team reviews every inquiry personally.

Typical response: within one business day

  1. Read by a senior partner. No queue, no ticket number.
  2. A reply within one business day with the right person on the thread.
  3. A short scoping call, then a written plan for the engagement or the search.

Information sent through this page is never shared, sold, or rented, for any reason, outside the course of normal RED SKY business practices. Resumes are held in confidence and never submitted to a client without a conversation first. Read the full privacy policy.

Questions answered

The questions that usually come before the first call.

If the answer is not here, the form above reaches a person who will have it.

For hiring leaders

What happens after an inquiry is sent?

A senior member of the team reads it, usually the same day. The reply comes within one business day with the right practice lead already on the thread. From there, a 20-minute scoping call establishes the role, the constraints, and the timeline, and a written plan follows.

Executive search or staffing: which conversation is this?

CISO, CIO, CTO, VP, and Director seats run through executive placement: retained, confidential, and built around passive candidates. Engineering, analyst, architect, and manager roles run through precision staffing as direct hire, contract, or contract-to-hire. When it is unclear, choose "Not sure yet" in the form and the scoping call sorts it out.

Can a search stay confidential?

Yes. Confidential searches are the norm at the leadership level, including replacements for a sitting executive. Tick the confidentiality box in the form and the inquiry routes only to the partner who will run it. No role is posted, and no client name is attached to outreach without written approval.

How fast does RED SKY move?

Staffing roles typically go from submittal to hire in 14 to 25 days. Executive searches are scoped individually, with a target set on the first call and reported against weekly. Every candidate presented has already cleared the Triton Vetting Process, so the shortlist is the interview slate, not the starting point.

Is there a guarantee?

Every placement carries a 100% placement guarantee, with terms set in the engagement agreement. Fee structures follow the engagement model: retained for executive search, contingency or contract for staffing, and statement-of-work pricing for project services. All of it is put in writing before any search begins.

For candidates

Will my resume be sent anywhere without my knowledge?

Never. A resume submitted here is reviewed by a RED SKY recruiter and held in confidence. No profile is presented to a client until a conversation has taken place and the candidate has agreed to the specific opportunity.

Do I need to be applying to a specific open role?

No. Many placements begin with a general submission. Choose "Advance a career" in the form, upload a resume, and note the practice area and work model that fit. The team matches against current mandates and confidential searches that are never posted publicly. Current listings are on the open roles page.

What file types and sizes are accepted?

PDF and Word (.doc, .docx) up to 10 MB. A LinkedIn URL is welcome alongside the resume, and a short note about the conditions under which a move would make sense is the most useful thing to include.

Does RED SKY charge candidates?

No. Fees are paid by the hiring organization, always. Candidates are never charged for placement, resume review, or interview preparation.

How soon will I hear back?

An acknowledgement arrives immediately. A recruiter reviews every submission within one business day. When there is an active match, expect a call to talk through it. When there is not, the profile stays on file and is revisited as mandates open, and the team will say so plainly rather than leave the thread cold.

For partners, press, and everyone else

I want to pitch a product or service to RED SKY. Where does that go?

Choose "Partner or refer" in the form and select the partnership type. Vendor and technology conversations route to operations rather than the recruiting desk, which means a real reply instead of silence. Cold outreach to individual recruiters is not the path.

How does the referral program work?

Refer a cybersecurity, IT, or AI professional through the referral program page. When the referral results in a placement, the referrer is rewarded under the program terms published there. Referrals are confidential to the referred person until they choose to engage.

Who handles press, podcast, and speaking requests?

Media and event requests go directly to the CEO's office. Choose "Press and speaking" in the form, include the outlet or event, the topic, and the deadline. Commentary on cybersecurity leadership hiring, the CISO market, and AI talent is the usual territory. Background is on the press page.

I want to work at RED SKY. Is this the right form?

Internal roles at RED SKY, in recruiting, sales, and operations, are handled separately from client placements. Read about the team first, then use the "Partner or refer" path with "Other" selected and mention the internal role in the message.

Where is RED SKY located, and does it matter?

Headquarters are in Denver, Colorado, with recruiting reach across the United States and alliances abroad. Engagements run remotely by default; in-person meetings are arranged when the search calls for them.

The organizations the world depends on already have RED SKY's number.
